Vice President JD Vance is set to kick off the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) on Thursday, where he’ll emphasize President Donald Trump’s accomplishments since returning to the White House a month ago. Vance will address the conference for the first time since his inauguration as Vice President of the United States.

According to a source familiar with the matter, Vance will highlight the “historic rate of achievement” during Trump’s first month in office ¹. He’ll make his remarks during a fireside chat with Mercedes Schlapp, a veteran Republican strategist and senior fellow at the American Conservative Union, which hosts CPAC.

Vance has been a regular at CPAC in recent years, dating back to his successful 2022 Senate campaign in Ohio. He also spoke at a CPAC-hosted townhall in Arizona last October while campaigning as Trump’s running mate.

CPAC, which began in 1974, is the nation’s oldest and largest annual gathering of conservative leaders and activists. In recent years, it has been dominated by Trump supporters and America First advocates who hold significant influence over the GOP.
