Vivek Ramaswamy, a successful businessman and former presidential candidate, is planning to run for governor of Ohio. Ramaswamy, who is 39 years old, was born and raised in Ohio and has a strong connection to the state.

Ramaswamy has a impressive background. He graduated from Harvard and Yale Law School, where he studied with JD Vance. After college, he started his own pharmaceutical company and asset management firm.

Ramaswamy has some big ideas about how to make America better. During his presidential campaign, he suggested shutting down some government agencies, like the Department of Education and the FBI. He also thinks that people should have to pass a test or serve in the military to be able to vote.

President-elect Donald Trump is supporting Ramaswamy’s run for governor. This could give him an edge in the election. Ramaswamy will be running against other candidates, including Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost and former Ohio Department of Health Director Dr. Amy Acton.
