Chicago – May 16, 2026

Mohammad Azharuddin, Telangana’s Minister for Minorities Welfare, participated in a key review meeting on the Indiramma Housing Scheme, reaffirming the state government’s commitment to housing for the underprivileged. The meeting was held alongside State Revenue, Housing, Information & Public Relations Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy and Hyderabad In-charge Minister Ponnam Prabhakar.

During the session, officials assessed the progress of the housing initiative and discussed strategies to accelerate implementation. The Indiramma Housing Scheme aims to provide safe and dignified housing to economically weaker sections across the state.

The ministers emphasized that ensuring a “home with dignity” for every poor family remains a top priority of the Telangana government. Preparations are underway for the launch of Phase 2 of the scheme, which is scheduled to commence in Adilabad on Telangana Formation Day.

The next phase is expected to expand coverage and bring relief to thousands of deserving beneficiaries across the region.
