Chicago – February 10, 2026

Former Israeli Prime Minister security chief Ami Dror has alleged that Yair Netanyahu physically assaulted his father, Benjamin Netanyahu, at their official residence, requiring security intervention. In a February 7, 2026, interview with Maariv newspaper, Dror described the incident as a “real” attack, not a minor dispute, which reportedly led to Yair’s relocation to Miami.

Dror, a critic of Netanyahu’s policies, claimed the confrontation escalated to the point where personnel had to step in, fueling questions about the Netanyahu family’s conduct. He further accused the family of unethical behaviors, including unpaid bills, amid Israel’s political tensions.

The prime minister’s office has not commented on Dror’s revelations, which have reignited debates on leadership ethics. Opposition figures see the allegations as evidence of deeper issues. No official confirmation or investigation has been announced.
