Former Israeli Prime Minister security chief Ami Dror has alleged that Yair Netanyahu physically assaulted his father, Benjamin Netanyahu, at their official residence, requiring security intervention. In a February 7, 2026, interview with Maariv newspaper, Dror described the incident as a “real” attack, not a minor dispute, which reportedly led to Yair’s relocation to Miami.
Dror, a critic of Netanyahu’s policies, claimed the confrontation escalated to the point where personnel had to step in, fueling questions about the Netanyahu family’s conduct. He further accused the family of unethical behaviors, including unpaid bills, amid Israel’s political tensions.
