Chicago – July 19, 2026

Donald Trump’s social media company, Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG), has discussed charging Wall Street traders and investment firms up to $100,000 per month for faster access to the U.S. president’s posts on Truth Social, according to sources familiar with the matter.

The company, which owns Truth Social, has also pitched a discounted three-year plan at $60,000 monthly, sources told Reuters, requesting anonymity due to confidential discussions. On Thursday, TMTG officially launched “Truth API,” a paid licensed data feed designed to provide banks and trading firms with the fastest access to posts from the 10 most influential Truth Social accounts.

The move marks Trump Media’s first venture into data licensing, creating a new revenue stream beyond advertising and subscriptions. However, the proposal drew immediate criticism from Democrats, who raised concerns about potential market advantages for wealthy firms able to afford premium access to presidential communications.

The Financial Times first reported the $100,000 subscription fee discussions earlier Thursday. The Truth API service will provide round-the-clock coverage of influential posts and include an archive dating back to 2022, though the company did not publicly disclose pricing details at launch.

Trump’s Truth Social posts have historically moved markets, making rapid access valuable for traders and investors seeking to capitalize on presidential announcements before competitors.
