Chicago – January 02, 2025

In 2025, India witnessed a disturbing rise in fatal incidents attributed to alleged government negligence. Despite the Modi administration’s claims of massive spending on infrastructure, the year was marked by frequent collapses, train accidents, and safety failures that cost countless lives.

One of the most tragic events occurred in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, where a passenger train collided with a freight train on November 4, killing 11 people. Reports suggest that more than 300 individuals lost their lives across various accidents during the year.

Critics argue that the government’s focus on glitzy projects and promotional campaigns overshadowed the need for strict safety standards and accountability.

Although official statements followed each disaster, concrete action remained elusive. Citizens and opposition voices have since demanded transparency and stronger governance, warning that continued silence could lead to further loss of innocent lives.
