Chicago – April 01, 2026

U.S. President Donald Trump has said the ongoing 2026 Iran War could end within two to three weeks, signaling a possible rapid conclusion to the conflict.

Speaking on March 31, Trump stated that the United States is close to achieving its main military objectives—particularly weakening Iran’s military capabilities—and could soon withdraw without needing a formal peace agreement.

Despite this optimistic timeline, fighting is still ongoing. Reports indicate continued strikes and regional escalation, including attacks affecting Gulf countries and key infrastructure.

Trump also suggested that once U.S. forces leave, major disruptions like the closure of the Strait of Hormuz could resolve on their own, though experts remain uncertain about that claim.
