A shocking revelation has raised concerns about the Trump administration’s handling of classified information. President Donald Trump’s national security team discussed sensitive military strikes in Yemen on an unclassified group chat, exposing a potentially catastrophic breach of national security.

The leak, revealed by Atlantic editor Jeffrey Goldberg, who was accidentally added to the chat, suggests a careless attitude toward America’s secrets and the safety of US forces. The team used Signal, an encrypted app, on personal phones vulnerable to foreign intelligence penetration, disregarding strict laws on handling classified material.

Experts condemn the incident as “grossly negligent.” Ryan Goodman, a former Defense Department special counsel, emphasized that sharing classified information with unauthorized individuals, including a journalist, is a criminal offense.
