President Donald Trump is intensifying his efforts to transform America’s politics and culture, using his presidential power to influence various aspects of American life, including government, law, media, public health, foreign policy, education, and the arts.

Trump’s campaign promises indicated that he would use executive authority to target his political enemies. However, his current actions reveal a broader strategy to reshape the country. He is targeting Ivy League universities, top law firms, and the bureaucracy, while also rejecting 80 years of American global leadership orthodoxy.

Recently, the White House forced Columbia University to restrict demonstrations, review its Middle East curriculum, ban masks in protests, and increase law enforcement presence. This move has left other top educational institutions feeling vulnerable to potential attempts to impose Trump’s ideology.
