Chicago – July 04, 2025

President Donald Trump is set to sign his tax cuts and spending bill into law on Friday, after getting strong support from Republicans in Congress. The new law is seen as a major win for Trump, helping to strengthen his second term in office.

Trump pushed hard for the bill and succeeded in getting it passed just in time for the nation’s birthday. The signing ceremony will take place at the White House during the Fourth of July picnic, where fighter jets and a stealth bomber will fly over.

The president called the new law a major boost for the country, saying, “It’s going to make this country into a rocket ship. It’s going to be really great.” However, Democrats criticized the law, calling it a handout to the rich that will hurt lower-income people by taking away health insurance, food aid, and other support.
