Chicago – August 20, 2026

Natalie Harp, a 35-year-old executive assistant to President Donald Trump, has become one of the most closely watched figures in his inner circle, with recent reports highlighting her extraordinary proximity to the president.

Harp first attracted national attention after publicly crediting Trump’s “Right to Try” legislation with helping her obtain experimental medical treatment. She later worked as a television presenter for One America News Network before joining Trump’s political operation. She became his executive assistant in 2025.

Her responsibilities reportedly include preparing printed material for Trump, assisting with his communications and helping manage his Truth Social activity. Her constant presence has earned her the nickname “the human printer.”

Recent reporting has drawn particular attention to an October 2023 incident. According to sources cited by CNN, Harp argued with staff after learning there was no room for her in Trump’s motorcade for a New York court appearance. She ultimately rode in the rear cargo area of an SUV to accompany him.

The episode has fueled debate about Harp’s unusual access and influence, while the White House has defended her as a loyal and hardworking aide. Her growing prominence illustrates the importance Trump places on personal loyalty within his political circle.
