President Donald Trump has said that key Middle Eastern allies have agreed on the outlines of a framework aimed at ending the conflict involving Iran, adding that the United States does not plan to carry out any new military strikes while diplomatic efforts continue.

Speaking to reporters, Trump said discussions with regional partners had made progress toward reducing tensions and creating conditions for a broader agreement. He expressed optimism that continued negotiations could help prevent further escalation and promote stability across the region.

The president stated that the decision to refrain from launching additional U.S. strikes is intended to give diplomacy an opportunity to succeed, while emphasizing that Washington remains prepared to respond if American interests or allies come under threat.

Officials have not yet released details of the proposed framework, and there has been no immediate confirmation from Iran or other regional governments regarding the reported understandings.

Analysts say any lasting agreement would require commitments from multiple parties and could face significant diplomatic and security challenges before a comprehensive peace arrangement is reached.
