Over the past two months, hundreds of thousands of people have come to the streets from Jakarta to San Francisco to condemn Israel’s continuous attack on Gaza, which has killed over 18,700 people, including over 7,700 children.
According to the Armed Conflict Location & Events Data Project, a nongovernmental organization specializing in conflict data gathering, there were at least 7,283 pro-Palestine protests in more than 118 nations and territories from October 7 to November 24.
Many more have decided to show their displeasure through their purchasing power, deciding to boycott products and services that support Israel, so supporting the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement, which was founded in 2005 by a coalition of Palestinian civil society groups.
