Hayat Clinic has been providing services since 2003 in the heart of the immigrant community on the North Side of Chicago. Recently, they celebrated their 20 year anniversary where Chicago’s prominent healthcare fraternity and their families were in attendance. The purpose of this event is to bring awareness in the community about their services, appreciate current volunteers and encourage participation from local licensed and in training healthcare professionals.
Guest’s listened to enlightening discussion from Dr. Zaher Sahloul (Guest of Honor) & Mr. Ahmed Rehab (Keynote Speaker) on the current local and international challenges faced by muslim community, strategies to manage compassion fatigue and the role of charity clinics like Hayat Clinic. Hayat’s team was able to collaborate with organizations like MEDGLOBAL & CAIR with the support of CMMA (Chicago Muslim Medical Alliance) & DAANA (Deccan Alumni Association of North America). The 20th anniversary was a successful event with 280+ guests with babysitting services and delicious Indo-pakistani cuisine was served.
The clinic serves the underprivileged and uninsured community on the Northside of Chicago. Over 24000 patient visits have been served since 2003. More than 30 physicians/volunteers provide services. Medical and surgical services consultations are provided free of cost. On site dispensary, phlebotomy and health insurance counselling is provided. Since 20017 with the collaboration of Lions Club International, POWER-VISION was created to establish ophthalmology services.

Mission is to provide free & affordable health care services to the needy, create health awareness. Create a role model Muslim Organization promoting brotherhood & collaboration in the community.
