The initial registration period for FY 2025 H1-B cap petitions opened at noon Eastern Monday, March 06, 2024. Now, it ran through noon Eastern till March 22, 2024. During this period, prospective petitioners and their representatives must use a USCIS online account to register each beneficiary electronically for the selection process and pay the associated registration fee. Online users can also collaborate on registration and petitions with enhanced organizational features in their online accounts.
The FY2025 registration process is governed by the final rule published on February 02, 2024.
USCIS now requires registrants to provide valid passport information or valid travel document information of each beneficiary that matches the document that the beneficiary tends to use to enter the US.
On April 01, USCIS will begin accepting online filing of Form I-129, petitions for non-immigrant workers, H1-B caped subject petitions, and any associated form I-907 Requests for premium processing service from petitioners whose request has been accepted.
