According to health officials, dozens of Palestinians have been killed since Israel began attacks on Gaza following the expiration of the truce.
The Israeli army drops leaflets ordering Palestinians in previously bombed and densely populated southern Gaza to flee to safer places, foreshadowing a larger offensive.
Qatar, the mediator, says talks to reestablish the lapsed truce are ongoing.
Since October 7, more than 15,000 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza. The official death toll in Israel is around 1,200.
