Ongoing INDIA Bloc Meet The Last Before 2024 Polls

Chicago – December 24, 2023

Following the recently held assembly elections in three states, the Congress party met with its alliance partners to discuss the next steps for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

The INDIA alliance, which includes the Congress, TMC, Samajwadi Party, CPI (M), AAP, and PDP, met in New Delhi to discuss a roadmap for a unified campaign, seat sharing, and redrawing the strategy for taking on the BJP in the 2024 general elections.

The leaders of more than 15 parties were present in Delhi at this final meeting of the alliance. All the party chiefs were present except Hemant Soren, the Chief Minister of Jharkhand, and Jharkhand Mukti Morcha, the chief. Mr Soren, who could not be present due to the ongoing assembly session in the state, attended the meeting online.

The leaders deliberated on measures for defeating PM Modi’s Bharatiya Janata Party in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
West Bengal Chief Minister and TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee stated that the INDIA bloc’s Prime Ministerial nominee will be picked after the 2024 general elections.
