In a horrifying incident, the 23-year-old daughter of a serving PCS officer was gang-raped inside a moving SUV in Lucknow.
The crime occurred on December 5, but it was discovered Sunday night after the survivor filed an FIR at the Wazirganj police station. Satyam Mishra (22), Suhail (23), and Aslam (31) were arrested by police on Monday.
Chiranjeev Nath Sinha, Additional DCP (West Zone), who is directing the investigation, said the survivor had attended King George’s Medical University (KGMU) on the tragic day of December 5, when a psychiatrist was treating her.
She had visited a tea stand owned by the accused near the department’s gate.
Sinha stated that on the tragic day, the survivor sought assistance at the tea shop to charge her phone’s battery. Satyam offered to charge her phone in a parked ambulance, but the driver unexpectedly left with a patient. Satyam and the survivor pursued the ambulance and caught up with it near the IT College intersection.
However, events took a terrifying turn when Satyam’s two accomplices dragged the survivor into an SUV and headed towards Safedabad in Barabanki.
