Fatima Begum, the granddaughter of renowned Kashmiri poet Wahab Khar, passed away in Kashmir at the age of 135 years. Abdul Wahab Khar, commonly known as Wahab Khar, was a 19th-century Kashmiri Sufi mystic poet and saint. He is sometimes called a “scholar” because of his contributions to Kashmiri literature.[4] He was constantly involved in writing Sufi devotional poems and attended musical gatherings.
Due to Fatima Begum’s blood relation with Wahab Khar, she was highly respected by the Kashmiri people. Hundreds of people attended the Janaza.
