UN aid chief decries Israeli attack on relief convoy.

Chicago – December 30, 2023

After UNRWA (UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees) reported that Israelis opened fire on an aid convoy travelling on an authorized route, UN Aid Chief Martin Griffiths said: “Attacks on humanitarian workers are unlawful.”

Since October 7, at least 21,507 people have been killed, and 55,915 have been injured in Gaza as a result of Israeli bombardment. The death toll from Hamas’ strike on Israel has risen to 1,139.
