Nikki Haley, the strong rival and second-place poll runner to ex-President Donald Trump, received harsh criticism during the fourth GOP-sponsored presidential debate at the University of Alabama. It was the most crucial debate because Iowa and New Hampshire voters will choose their candidates in less than 40 days.
The Tuscaloosa discussion at Alabama University, the smallest of the three thus far, saw knives drawn for Haley despite her ongoing surge in the primary polls. Haley and DeSantis grabbed center stage as they competed for a distant second-place finish behind Trump, who remains the polling front-runner.
Former UN Ambassador Nikki Haley, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, and tech entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy participated in the discussion, which was the shortest yet.
According to media sources, Christie took on Trump on the stage, while Ramaswamy took on everyone else with Trumpian theatrics.
