An American polling firm, Gallup, surveyed 1,013 respondents and found that the majority of young adults and American women disapprove of Israel’s attacks on Gaza.
52% of women and 67% of adults aged 18-34 do not support Israel’s attacks, according to the findings of a survey announced this week following its completion last month.
The percentage of adult males who opposed the bombardment of Israel increased from 44% to 59%, with women supporting the operations at a rate of 44%.
64% of white participants supported the attacks, compared to 64% of Black, Hispanic, Asian, Pacific Islander, and Native American respondents who were more inclined to disapprove.
Party affiliation-wise, 71% of Republicans expressed approval of Israel’s assault, while only 23% disapproved. Among Democrats, 63% disapproved, while 36% supported the offensive.
